Why Use Hanging with the Kiddos Glossy Paper?

Our specially formulated glossy paper is designed for high-quality printing and vibrant colors. It’s ideal for chip bags, candy wrappers, party labels, treat bags, and more. The smooth finish makes your designs pop and gives your creations a polished, store-bought look.

What You’ll Need:

  • Hanging with the Kiddos Glossy Paper Sheets
  • Printer: Any good-quality inkjet printer that prints high-quality images will work. Here are some excellent options.
  • Your printable design (PDF or PNG format)
  • Adhesive: You’ll need  Double-sided Tape or Hot Glue
  • Scissors or paper cutter (optional)

Prepare Your Printer:

  • Ensure your inkjet printer is turned on and connected.
  • Check ink levels. For best results, we recommend using high-quality dye ink.
  • Open your design file and make sure it matches the paper size: 8.5 x 11 inches.
  • Printer Settings:
  • Paper Type: Select 'Glossy Photo Paper'
  • Quality: Choose 'High' or 'Best'
  • Size: 8.5 x 11 (Letter)
  • Layout: Borderless (if supported)

Once printed, carefully remove the sheet and allow it to dry. Our glossy paper is designed to be instant dry—just give it a few seconds.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Print a Test Page: Before printing multiple copies, print one to confirm color and alignment.
  • Store Properly: Keep unused sheets in original packaging in a cool, dry place—away from sunlight.
  • Handle with Care: Avoid touching the glossy surface to prevent smudges and fingerprints.
  • Troubleshooting:

Ink Smudging?

  • Double-check that you're using the right settings.
  • Make sure ink is fully dry before handling.

Using HP or Canon and Black Ink Smears or Rubs Off?

  • Some HP and Canon printers use pigment-based black ink, which may not work well on thin glossy paper.
  • Try this: remove the black ink cartridge and print using only color inks. Most printers will simulate black using color ink, giving better results on glossy surfaces.

Paper Jams?

  • Glossy paper can build up static. Fan the paper before loading it into the tray to reduce the chance of jamming.
